3 year olds and hair cuts...!

So today was a nice day to spend with the family. We went to lunch (Applebee's of course) my kids love going out to eat and then we got haircuts. My 2 littlest guys have never had a real haircut before. It was so cute. My 3 year old insisted he needed a haircut and he wanted to look like Dad - who shaves his head. I already have a husband who chooses to be bald there was no way I was going to have a blad 3 year old as well. So we sit and wait and they call his name, and he hides. He doesn't want a haircut any more. Doesn't want to look like Dad doesn't want to look like his brothers just wants to play with his new Diego games. Then the Brilliant hair stylist asks "Do you want to eat a sucker while I cut your hair?" She whisper asked me first, hence the brilliance. He hopped into that chair after the suckers quicker than anything and sat there eating his sucker and giggling the whole time. Apparently the clippers tickled. He was so cute when he was done with his "short" hair cut and so proud.

My first blog post...

Well here we go! This is officially my first post to Modern Mom and hope there will be many more to come. Since this is my first I will tell you a little bit about me. I live in the northern suburbs of St. Paul Minnesota with my husband and our 4 children. We have 3 boys ages 8, 6, and 3, and 1 little girl age 2. While they may drive me nuts some days (like today when there is no school) I love them more than I ever would have believed possible. I have been working on writing How To articles with ehow.com to make a little extra fun money and have decided to start a blog as well. If you're interested in seeing what I write you can visit me at ehow by clicking the link at the top of the page. I'm looking into more ways to earn passive income so that when I start school and those unexpected expenses come up I will have something to work with. Like the trip to the dentist that cost us over $600 the week after Christmas! Well it is dinner time so I'm off to dive back into the craziness that is pre-bed time. Talk to you later! :)
